Be Brave, Be Bold, Be Boring - Workshop w/ Nathan Ehrmann
Saturdays at 12:00 pm
January 5, 2019
Making bold moves as an improviser is great, but we have all been in scenes where we burn too bright, too fast, and we are begging for an edit after 30 seconds.
Stillness and silence are critical for creating comedic timing, grounding the scene with realism, and making your characters and scene more relatable to the audience.
This workshop will focus on breathing, bodily awareness, and using that awareness to create comfortable and intentional moments of silence and stillness in scenes.
Being brave enough to be boring will make your big moments bigger and help you as a performer to find more clarity.
This workshop will take place on Saturday afternoon January 5th from 12-3pm at Fallout Theater, located at 616 Lavaca St. in downtown Austin.
Tuition is $35, and this class is limited to 15 students, so reserve your spot now!
