Level 2 Sketch Online

Our Level 2 sketch course focuses on broadening students’ skill & understanding of the styles and genres that are common in comedy writing.
Dig deeper into satire, monologues, large group scenes, and other fundamental forms of live sketch.
This course requires that students have a computer, access to the internet, a webcam and a microphone.
Starting Monday, August 3rd students will receive weekly lessons and assignments from their instructor. The class will also periodically include group video chat sessions with the instructor and other classmates. These will take place on Saturdays from 2-4pm when they occur. Students unable to join in the group video chats will still have access to these videos after they conclude.
Students who complete Sketch Level 2 will be eligible to enroll in Sketch Level 3.

About Erica Lies
Erica Lies is a writer, improviser, and teacher in Austin. She’s been writing and performing comedy for over a decade. She has studied improv at the Magnet Theater, Institution Theater, and ColdTowne Theater and writing with The Second City. As a writer, she is a three-time Second Rounder at the Austin Film Festival, and her entertainment journalism and humor writing have run in McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, The New Yorker’s Daily Shouts, and the New York Times.
